Philosophy of our School/Mission Statement

  • In Bunscoil Lughaidh Naofa; we aim to educate the children socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically, bearing in mind the differentiation necessary to accommodate the learning capacity of each child.
  • We uphold and promote the Catholic Ethos of our school at all times while at the same time respecting the diversity of other religions and beliefs,
  • The uniqueness of each child is recognised and in partnership with parents we aim to develop self-esteem and enable them to achieve their potential through positive learning experiences in a well ordered safe environment.
  • While we strive to deliver the Revised Primary Curriculum to the highest standard possible, we also broaden the learning experiences for children by offering many extra-curricular activities such as Choral singing, Sport, Gardening and Environmental Awareness programmes.
  • In our school we value all things traditional and cultural and place importance on the use of Gaeilge on a daily basis.
