Bunscoil Lughaidh Naofa Parents Association
The parents association of Bunscoil Lughaidh Naofa work with the principal, staff and the board of management to build effective partnership between home and school.
The parents association can advise the principal and Board of Management on policy issues and incidents that may require a review of school policy, e.g. Bullying, Safety, Homework, Enrolment, Behaviour problems etc.
We are appreciative of the active roll many parents take in fund raising initiatives and other activities throughout the School year.
This year, we saw lots new members join our Parents Association.
They organised fundraising such as non uniform days, and day in the town where they had a collection for ‘Guess the amount of sweets in the jar’.
The Parents Association supported the school this year in terms of:
- Santa Visit
- Christmas Colouring Competition
- Sponsored a Skipping Workshop with Skipnrope during Wellbeing Week
- Teas and refreshments after First Holy Communion, Graduation and other events
- Treats and refreshments at Sports Day
- Our exciting end of year DISCO
We look forward to another safe healthy and happy school year and hope to welcome more parents to our association and school community with meetings resuming early in the new academic year.
